令人回味无穷的年度野餐会 Annual School Picnic
我是许励，新上任的PTA主席。上周日在风和日丽的野餐会上，我认识了不少我校的公益劳动精英。完全是因为有了他们，我们两百多人的野餐会才变得那样有条不紊，亲切感人。除了享受到可口的烧烤外，还有幸品尝了各位家长带来的家乡菜：有武汉的热干面，台湾的火腿粽子，湖南的辣椒面，江南的珍珠丸子，北京的大饺子。还有许多我叫不上名的佳肴，摆满了三大桌。本以为这已经很丰富了，没想到更精彩的后面。我们校长张涛不知从哪请来了一位师傅，名李伟。这人自带煤气炉，在我们的喝彩中做出一碗又一碗热腾腾的蒙古羊肉拉面。我这不吃羊肉的人都忍不住得说一声：“ 再来一碗！“
你若没能来，下次的野餐会可不能再错过。
My name is Li Xu, the new PTA Chair for NWCS. Please allow me to give my hearty thanks to all the 30+ volunteers who have made on last Sunday the 2012 school picnic a successful, and hassle free event. The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm. The food was delicious! Every family brought so much food to share, that made the event even more special.
In the party, our Principal Tao Zhang has organized a Chef to demonstrate a Mongolian lamb noodle show. It was tasty and brought some food making interaction into the event. We should have more of those next year!
Again, thanks everyone to make this event so memorable! I look forward to our next one with you.

PTA Weekly Services
NWCS Library Opens This Saturday - Last day this Semester
NWCS library will be open for the last two weeks from 9:30am to 12:30pm. We have DVD movies and TV series including children's materials in the library. We also have the popular 英汉双解中文字典 for sale. All proceeds go to NWCS PTA.
现在在图书馆租借DVD， 可以保留一暑假! (另外，别忘了归还已到期的DVD)
All materials including DVD and TV series borrowed this week can be kept for the whole summer until school starts again in the fall. Come and get your favorites to enjoy in the summer. Also, if you have any materials that are due, please return them this Saturday to avoid any fines.

本周讲座专题为『投资理财Ｑ＆Ａsession』，除了为我们这一个系列课程做总结之外，将开放家长提问时间，本团队将会尽我们我所能回答包括，退休，投资，遗产等任何有关投资理财的疑问，欢迎有兴趣的朋友们踊跃参加，内容精彩丰富，千万不要错过！！以下是本课程的时间地点:

好消息：
Starting from June 16th (This Saturday) Teacher Wu will host a dancing party every Saturday. Please come to join her on the dancing floor! She will offer one hour dancing lesson before the party from 7pm to 8pm (tuition is $10 per person). Then the next two hours is dancing party ($5). You can come for either class or dancing party or both.
